Course objectives
Accounting EKE11 helps students to develop knowledge and understanding of the underlying principles and concepts relating to financial accounting and technical proficiency in the use of double-entry accounting techniques including the preparation of basic financial statements. The student will get a basic understanding to accounting terminology, manual bookkeeping mechanics and computer accounting methods and the use of the published financial reports. The student will gain the knowledge and skills necessary for interpreting the reported accounting data and evaluating its impact.
