Dle zákona č. 566/1990 Sb., o místních poplatcích, ve znění pozdějších předpisů, existuje v České republice 8 různých druhů místních poplatků, které mají nedaňový charakter. Ve vztahu k cestovnímu ruchu mají největší význam dva místní poplatky. Jedná se o místní poplatek za lázeňský nebo rekreační pobyt a o místní poplatek z ubytovací kapacity. Tento příspěvek pojednává o historii, současnosti a významu obou místních poplatků pro rozpočty obcí v České republice.

In the Czech Republic, under Act No. 565/1990 Coll., on local fees, as amended, there are eight different types of local fees, which are of a non-tax nature. Two local fees have the greatest significance in relation to tourism. These are the local fee for a spa or leisure stay, andthe local fee for. This paper discusses the history, present and importance of local fees for the budgets of municipaliti es in the Czech Republic.
