This paper presents the results of the investigation to verify the research question, if vessels for drinking wine can affect the sensory characteristics of wine - appearance, aroma and taste, which are considered to be attributes determining the quality of wine. With this aim, the method of sensory analysis was used and was tested on 60 respondents to test to what extent the material and shape of the container affects the final quality of the wine when drinking.
