The Czech Republic is one of the countries, which in recent history was under the power of the Communist regime. The significant influence on the management of tourism is the potential level of investment. In the Czech Republic, this primarily involves drawing on European Union funds. This is also reflected in the following analysis and is demonstrated in the analysis of the main tourism and hospitality indicators such as the number of collective accommodation establishments, number of guests in these facilities, and the number of overnight stays.

Česká republika je jednou ze zemí, ve které byla v nedávné historii moc pod vlivem komunistického režimu. Výrazný vliv na řízení cestovního ruchu má potenciální míra investic. V České republice se jedná především o čerpání prostředků z fondů Evropské unie. Tato skutečnost se odráží v následující analýze, která je dána do kontextu s vývojem hlavních ukazatelů cestovního ruchu a hotelnictví, jako je počet hromadných ubytovacích zařízení, počet hostů v těchto zařízeních a počet přenocování.
