V originále

Monografie originálním způsobem aplikuje poznatky ekonomie do cestovního ruchu jako jednoho z důležitých národohospodářských odvětví. Systematicky popisuje dvě na sebe navazující historická období, a to od 2. pol. 19. stol. do roku 1947 (tržní ekonomika) a od roku 1948 do roku 1989 (centrálně řízená ekonomika). Jedná se o zásadně rozdílné ekonomické systémy, jejichž podstata je vysvětlena i laikům srozumitelnými komentáři.

In English

he monograph applies the knowledge of economics in an original way to tourism as one of the important branches of the national economy. It systematically describes two consecutive historical periods, from the second half of the 19th century. until 1947 (market economy) and from 1948 to 1989 (centrally controlled economy). These are fundamentally different economic systems, the essence of which is explained even to laymen with comprehensible comments.
