Část soustavy oborů vzdělání v základním, středním a vyšším odborném vzdělávání, která se týká oborů středního odborného vzdělávání, již nedostatečně reflektuje požadavky a potřeby trhu práce. Proto dochází k inovaci soustavy oborů (IOS), tedy k jejímu obnovení a zdokonalení. Úkol inovovat soustavu oborů středního odborného vzdělávání je uveden v implementační kartě Strategie vzdělávací politiky ČR 2030+ (Strategie 2030+).

The part of the system of fields of education in basic, secondary and higher vocational education, which refers to the fields of secondary vocational education, already insufficiently reflects the demands and needs of the labor market. That is why the system of fields (IOS) is being innovated, i.e. its renewal and improvement. The task of innovating the system of fields of secondary vocational education is stated in the implementation card of the Strategy of the Czech Education Policy 2030+ (Strategy 2030+).
