Obec Lipno nad Vltavou je významnou dvousezónní destinací cestovního ruchu, která se nachází v Jihočeském kraji v horské krajině ve venkovském prostoru s velmi příznivými předpoklady pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu. Z hlediska funkčně-prostorové typologizace se jedná o významné středisko cestovního ruchu, neboť na území obce se nachází 3 787 lůžek v hromadných ubytovacích zařízeních, 550 míst v kempech pro stany a karavany a dále zhruba 4 000 lůžek v apartmánových bytech a v chatách a chalupách.
In English
The municipality of Lipno nad Vltavou is an important two-season tourism destination, which located in the South Bohemian region in a mountainous landscape in a rural area with very favorable conditions prerequisites for the development of tourism. From the point of view of functional-spatial typology it is an important center of tourism, as there are 3,787 beds in the territory of the municipality in collective accommodation facilities, 550 places in campsites for tents and caravans and further approximately 4,000 beds in apartment apartments and in cottages and cottages.
