Abstract
Abstract (in English)
In connection with the Department of Tourism’s five years of existence in 2013, and nearly fifteen years of activity at the Institute of Hospitality Management in Prague (IHM), this article aims to contribute to the development of educational and research activities in a major field of study at IHM, Tourism Destination Management, and suggests possibilities for its further development up to 2020. Changes in the structure of subjects and revisions to the concept of the study program are based not only on the requirements of the Accreditation Commission, but also related to the overall development of destination management both in theory and also in practical terms.
