Course objectives (in Czech)
GOAL
The goal of the internship is to apply gained theoretical knowledge within the operations of hospitality-focused companies and deepen the understanding of them. The student will as well gain practical experience which might increase its value on the labour market.
KNOWLEDGE
The student will gain practically-oriented knowledge which can be used to compare the theoretical and practical aspects of hospitality. Students will as well understand the functionality of the selected business and its specifics which might be beneficial for further studies.
COMPETENTIES
The students are able to prosecute the activities on the operations level and know their connection to other activities within the business unit.
SKILLS
The specific internship will lead to improvement of the soft and hard skills as well as their combination which is commonly labelled as a hospitality intelligence.
Learning outcomes (in Czech)
The internships are focused mainly on hospitality oriented business and their processes.

The students might focus on the operations of these business and the combination with operations management or their management entirely. The students are selecting the place where to internships will take place and the period when the internship will happen individually, based on their preferences.

The internship can be taken during the summer break or during the semester. In both cases, the student needs to reflect on the length of the internship, its content and administration.
Teaching methods (in Czech)
The internship is terminated by submitting the final report that includes the evaluation of the internship from the students and employers point of view.

The length of the internship is set to 6 weeks, 240 hours respectively.
Assessment methods (in Czech)
The internship is based on the Interhsip Agreement, which must be signed before the start of the internship.

The agreement is prepared in two copies, one for each of the agreement subjects.

The student is submitting the agreement for confirmation and signature before the start of the internship. It is recommended to submit the agreement at least two weeks before the planned start of the internship.
The internship is terminated by the Final Report.
