- Course objectives
- To continue studies of the JCE10 and learn more grammar rules and their practical use in an oral form of the language. To give students more opportunities to communicate and overcome difficulties in pronunciation of "hard" consonants. To study in more details problems of genders due to "adjectives" and adverbs.
- Syllabus
- Topics based on the textbook: 1. We live in a town and go the bank and post-office. 2. Principles of adjectives and adverbs - their forms accordingly with their gender. 3. Accusative plural. 4. Indefinite and negative pronouns and adverbs. 5. Hotel, restaurant. 6. Modal verbs. Likes and dislikes communication. 7. Past tense. Genitive singular. 8. Dates, months. 9. Visiting friends, going to the cinema, watching TV. 10. Noun and verb agreement with counted expressions, telling time.
- Teaching methods
- Class instruction is based on active student participation in learning essentials of vocabulary, as well as of grammar rules through particualr exercises which are in each lesson. The rest of exercises is a part of students´homework. During class instruction students simulate practical situations of daily life. These are prezented in individual lessons as texts, articles, dialogues, as well as in the listening programme.

- Written test 75%, homework and attendance (25%) - total 100%.
