Course objectives
Introduce students to the basics of risk management, methods and procedures, including practical applications, especially in the financial sphere
Syllabus
  • - Risk, definition and classification. Business risk. - Enterprise management control system, 3 levels of risk defence. - Risk analysis and measurement, qualitative and quantitative approach. - Risk mitigation methods, insurance. - Financial risk: credit risk, market (currency, interest rate) risk. - Operational risk (incident tracking, KRI, RCSA). - Crisis management, Business continuity management (BCP, DR). - Internal audit, definition, internal audit standards. - Relationship of IA to other disciplines and departments in the enterprise - compliance, controlling, audit committee. - Planning and execution of internal audit.
