The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
To continue studies further, start commanding its written forms in more detail (application form for a job, simple CV). To develop more professional forms of communication (essentials of hotel and restaurant phrases).
Syllabus
  • Topics based on the textbook: 1. Family, flat renting. 2. Future tense. 3. Locative singular, locative of personal pronouns. 4. More on adjectives and adverbs in practical use (descriptive forms - design). 5. Tourism - travel, travel agencies (simple structure, jobs). 6. Dative singular, dataive of personal pronouns. 7. Imperative forms. 8. Verbs of transport and travel (go, drive, walk). 9. Telling time, time-tables, itiniraries. 10. Guiding a short trip.
Teaching methods (in Czech)
Class instruction is based on active student participation in learning essentials of vocabulary, as well as of grammar rules through particular exercises which are in each lesson of the textbook.
Assessment methods
Credit Requirements: 75 % of attendence = 9 lectures (maximum 3 absences) → credit will be given on 14. 12. 2020 or 21. 12. 2020 based on active participation during the lessons 4 – 6 absences = credit will be given on the basis of final test (14. 12. 2020) – selected topics of curriculum of lessons 4–9 from the textbook BOCCOU KESTŘÁNKOVÁ, Marie, ŠTĚPÁNKOVÁ, Dagmar, VODIČKOVÁ, Kateřina. Čeština pro cizince: úroveň A1 a A2. Brno: Edika, 2017. Min. 70 % in the final test to pass 7 and more absences = must repeat the course In case of a pandemic and on-line learning, the programme will remain broadly the same. It will only be adapted according to the current situation.
