Course objectives
The aim is to understand the basics and context of the research. The course introduces the essence of research, phases, basic methods and techniques of data acquisition and processing. The theory is supplemented by examples of research.
Learning outcomes
The student is able to prepare a project of the analytical part (research project) of his diploma thesis.

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Zkouška spočívá v hodnocení prezentování a odevzdání seminární práce: projektu výzkumu. V prezenční formě je předpokladem zkoušky splnění několika dílčích úkolů. Seminární práce má přispět k prohloubení znalostí studenta ve zvoleném tématu, k jeho schopnosti formulovat účelový projekt a pracovat s literaturou a dalšími zdroji. Rozsah seminární práce stanoví příslušný pedagog (cca 5 normostran). Práce bude odevzdána před ukončením kurzu a její úroveň bude ohodnocena dle stupnice ECTS.
