- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the theoretical foundations, tools and techniques of project management in companies in the hotel and spa industry. Knowledge: Student basic concepts, project life cycle and project management processes. Learn the procedures for planning, initiating, managing, evaluating and closing a project. Skills: In particular, the student will be able to master project management tools and techniques, project logical framework matrix, project work hierarchy structure, project scope analysis, project organization, project team responsibility matrix, project stakeholder register, project risk register, time project in the form of a network graph with assigned and balanced resources. The student can evaluate the implementation of the project, propose a solution and revise the project. Abilities: Upon successful completion, the student will be able to independently plan and lead a project of limited complexity, select and apply appropriate tools and techniques from project management.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will be able to: - characterize project management in different companies - assemble, organize and communicate in the project team, - learn the tools and techniques of interested parties, - get to know the techniques of risks, quality and opportunities in projects, - draft project plan, project scope and outputs, resource and cost plan, - describes the theory of constraints and its application in project management, - defines procurement, contractual relationships and changes in projects, - characterizes the individual phases of the project. - determine the methods of project control and implementation - analyzes the final and sub-implementation phase of the project
