Course objectives
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the basics of communication skills in the hotel and catering industry. Students will learn the basic theoretical definitions, which will be applicable to professional examples daily routine operations in the hotel and catering facilities.

Teaching methods (in Czech)
The course is taught in the form of individually oriented theoretical topics specific to this area. During each lecture classes, students are familiar with the issue at hand to model practical demonstrations focusing on practical communication.
Assessment methods (in Czech)
The course is terminated on the basis of case studies, students develop a seminar work followed by presentations focusing on communication skills.Furthermore, the course is completed with an oral examination to the problems of communication skills.
