- Cíle předmětu
- GOAL: The goal of the subject is widening the theoretical knowledge of distribution of hotel services.
KNOWLEDGE: Student will gain general knowledge of e-business with focus on hotel product distribution. Nevertheless, student will gain knowledge about selected distribution channels, their pros and cons. Lastly, student will gain knowledge about marketing segmentation and its specification within hospitality industry.
SKILS: Successful passing of the course will give student the ability to use fluently PMS and POS systems. These skills are required for further use of other systems.
COMPETENCE: Student is able to apply gained knowledge while creating effective distribution mix with focus on direct channels. Student is able to work with PMS and POS systems and use them for Front-Office activities (reception and reservations department). - Osnova

- Metody hodnocení
- Student receives credit for active attendance on at least 75 % of seminar. Duirng seminars, student must fulfill partial objecives connected with selected PMS and POS systems. Written examination consist of 3 separate parts focused on theoretical knowledge of distribution in hospitality industry, market knowledge os usable tools and systems and practical knowledge of use of selected PMS and POS.
