Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquire basic knowledge in the field of international trade and business. The course focuses on the justification of the necessity of trade in the national economy, the history of trade in the Czech Republic in the global context, trade finance, international activities of companies, consumer protection in the European environment , calculating the required number of operating personnel. Lectures are also devoted to integration and cooperation relations in international trade.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student is able to succeed in a lower managerial position in wholesale and retail. Understands the processes from the purchase to the realization of goods, including its placement in the store.

Rozsah a obsahové zaměření individuálních prací studentů a způsob kontroly
Studenti kombinované formy zpracují rešerši odborné literatury nebo ekonomických periodik týkající se buď problematiky podnikání ve vybraném teritoriu nebo hospodářské politiky vybraného státu (seskupení států), kterou zašlou zkoušejícímu nejméně jeden týden před zkouškou.
Součástí zkoušky je rozprava nad daným problémem.
