- Cíle předmětu
- Course MG E01 provides a foundation for major topics in management by covering theories and practices relating to managerial roles and forming a knowledge base of a successful manager, namely in: planning and strategic management, organizational culture, managing change, understanding individual behaviour and managing work teams, communication and motivation, control and operation management.
The course has two primary goals:
(a) To provide an introduction to theories and concepts of organization and management;
(b) To provide applications of these theories and concepts to the management of organizations and the people who make up those organizations.
Learning outcomes and competencies: Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to understand what it means to be a successful manager under current conditions, i.e. manager confronting change. Students will acquire knowledge of principles and functions of management and understanding of modern approaches to the management in economic and social environment and the application thereof in practice. - Osnova
